Creamy Mexican White Rice
This recipe is very different to the traditional white rice, and in our opinion its much tastier. This rice is a warm, creamy and delicious comfort food which will become a favorite in your homes!

Ingredients

cup
white rice
parboiled
2
cups
water
1
cup
double cream
4
tsp
creme fraiche (sour cream)

g
corn
2
tsp
Knorr chicken stock
2
tsp
olive oil
1
onion
sliced
1
jalapeño pepper
1
garlic clove
minced
1
chunk of butter
Instructions
Sauté the onion and the garlic in the melted butter and olive oil in the sauté pan
add the rice and stir it around to cover it with the mix
add the water, the double cream, the creme fraiche, the corn, the jalapeño pepper and the Knorr chicken stock.
Stir to integrate all ingredients
simmer the rice for about 30min at a low temperature and keep the pan covered and don't stir the rice

Notes
To check if the rice is done, squish it between two fingers. If it's soft the rice is cooked.
